I’ve always been someone who cares deeply about how people feel and what they’re going through. Becoming a therapist felt like a natural path for me—I wanted to help people feel less alone and offer a space where they could truly be themselves without fear of judgment. What I love most about counseling is how real it is. It’s a place to be honest, to feel seen, and to begin making sense of what’s been hard to carry.
In my work, I focus on supporting people who are navigating trauma and workplace stress. Trauma can show up in many ways—sometimes it’s connected to a specific event, and other times it’s more subtle or long-standing, shaping how you see yourself, others, or the world. You might notice feeling on edge, overwhelmed, shut down, or stuck in patterns that are hard to change. Together, we can gently explore these experiences and work toward helping you feel more grounded, safe, and connected.
I also work closely with individuals dealing with stress related to work—whether that’s burnout, difficult workplace dynamics, leadership challenges, or feeling misaligned with your role or values. Work takes up such a large part of our lives, and when it’s not going well, it can affect everything else. I support clients in making sense of these experiences, building confidence, navigating complex relationships, and finding ways to feel more steady and empowered in their professional lives.
I have a deep interest in supporting individuals balancing multiple cultures, especially as it relates to both trauma and workplace experiences. Navigating different cultural expectations—whether in family systems or professional environments—can be complex and, at times, isolating. I often work with individuals who are figuring out how to lead, communicate, and advocate for themselves across cultural contexts, while still honoring their identity and values.
My style as a therapist is warm, collaborative, and patient. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and you don’t need to have everything figured out or share more than you’re ready to. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. My role is to create a calm, supportive space where you can explore what’s been weighing on you and begin to feel more grounded. Everyone deserves to be treated with care, curiosity, and respect—and I consider it an honor to walk alongside you as you work toward feeling more like yourself.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate with the State of Washington (#MC70034600). I regularly seek consultation from colleagues as well as my licensed supervisor, Katherine Walter, MSW, LICSW, CSW-G (LICSW #LW 60136151).
