A Group for South Asian Immigrant Women

Finding Home Again:
A Group for South Asian Immigrant Women

Catalyst Counseling is offering an opportunity for South Asian women who have immigrated to process the emotions of being in a new cultural environment and practice interpersonal relational skills in a semi-structured environment.

This group is guided by Jaya Ramesh, LMHCA, a therapist of South Asian descent who is deeply informed by her own   immigration experience from India.

This is a space to receive and offer support, build community, and process the complexity of navigating being an immigrant.

• With 8-10 participants per group, participants will have the opportunity to share experiences and challenge each other to grow and accept change.

• We are open to all women from the continent of South Asia aged 18+.

• In order to build a supportive community, this is a closed group and we ask that participants commit to attending all 12 sessions.  This group is not a replacement for therapy, but an opportunity to gain support and community.

Sessions held weekly on Thursdays from 10:30-11:30am

(Start date TBD—based on individual scheduling needs)

The cost is $300 for the full 12-week series.  Catalyst Counseling is an LGBTQ affirming environment; everyone is welcome.  If you are interested in participating in the next group or want more information, please contact Catalyst Counseling at 425.998.9769 or
