One of the things I love most about counseling is how many tools it offers — and how flexible those tools can be. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. It can be shaped, adapted, and integrated in ways that meet you where you are and respond to what you need right now. I see counseling as a collaborative space where we draw from different approaches to support you in ways that feel meaningful, practical, and respectful of your lived experience.

I am especially interested in supporting clients who are navigating neurodiversity, including autistic adults, as well as those working through the challenges of “adulting” and building or maintaining relationships. Many of the people I work with struggle with confidence, identity, or feeling a sense of safety — both internally and in the world around them. Together, we can explore how these experiences show up in your daily life and relationships, and work toward building greater understanding, self-trust, and stability.

I believe healthy change happens when we feel seen and heard in ways that feel safe to us. Growth can be vulnerable, and meaningful change often requires a foundation of safety before anything else. I place a strong emphasis on creating a therapeutic environment where you feel supported enough to explore change on your own terms and on your own timeline. Therapy doesn’t have to be rushed — it can unfold at a pace that honors your needs, boundaries, and capacity.

Starting therapy and meeting someone new can feel awkward or nerve-wracking, and that is completely normal. Feeling nervous or unsure is a common part of the process, and we will go at whatever pace feels right for you. Our sessions will take shape based on what feels most supportive, and I am intentional about checking in and ensuring your consent throughout our work together. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, exploring what matters to you, and growing in ways that feel both empowering and sustainable.

I am currently completing my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at University of West Alabama (expected graduation December 2026). I regularly seek consultation from colleagues as well as my licensed supervisor, Dr. Jennifer Kennett, LMHC (#LH60516584).
