About

Hello, and thank you for landing at my page! My name is Azure, and I am a therapist with a deep appreciation for the intricacies of the human experience. Over the years, I have come to realize just how interconnected we are as human beings. Each client I work with brings a unique story, yet these stories often share common themes of a desire to be seen, heard, and loved. I am constantly in awe of the myriad ways we can reach these states of fulfillment, and I am committed to helping clients find their ways of connection through authenticity.

Every person has a unique story and inherent strengths that may sometimes go unnoticed or misunderstood. If you are seeking clarity or feeling stuck in writing the current chapter of your life, I am here to help. I believe there is power and value in every moment of stuckness, pause, and confusion on your journey of self-exploration. It is my honor to join you on this journey, tapping into your experiences with gentle curiosity and reconnecting with different sources of your inner strength.

Counseling, to me, is a harmonious blend of science and art. While I rely on evidence-based theories to guide my practice, I also trust my therapeutic connections with clients to meet them where they are at. This dynamic interplay between scientific rigor and artistic creativity empowers me to stay grounded with clients and explore the therapy room with curiosity.

Navigating moments of transition is a central focus of my practice. Whether these transitions are individual, relational, career-related, or related to the various social identities we are assigned, they can be challenging and confusing. Yet, when approached with care and intention, these moments can lead to profound growth and life enrichment—much like how volcanic soil becomes fertile after an eruption. Healthy change is a nonlinear process that begins with acknowledging the need for change and unpacking the power of loss & grief that comes along with change.

Our narratives are shaped by our relationships and the larger societal structures we navigate. As a systemic therapist, I strive to understand your story within this broader context. My goal is to bring compassion, curiosity, and non-judgment to the space, where we can explore your experiences, challenges, and setbacks together. I also integrate creativity and play-based activities when appropriate.

I welcome you and all parts of you into the therapy space. Together, we will share laughter, awkwardness, struggles, silence, tenderness, honesty, and more. There is room for all of your experiences and emotions here. I hope you will bring your whole self into our sessions so that I can honor and fully see who you are.

I look forward to meeting you and embarking on this journey together.
